Precious Previews Ultrasound, a Bel Air-based, 3D/4D prenatal imaging center, recently introduced their newest service, 4D UltraShare, for expectant parents and their families, and this holiday, they've donated their services to the Bransons. This state-of-the-art technology enables the secure video transmission of an ultrasound over the internet to virtually any broadband-connected, Windows-based computer in the world. The broadcast is password protected to ensure client's privacy and is easy for end-users with connections typically made in minutes.
Since being redeployed for a second tour in July, Specialist Branson is not expected home until May, 2008, two months after the birth of his son. Thanks to technology, however, both he and Mrs. Branson will actually be able to see their son at the same time, from two different counties, before he is even born. Precious Previews is one of only a few facilities in the nation to offer this service. While the cost of $45 is in addition to the cost of the ultrasound, the Bel-Air facility offers 4D UltraShare to all military families at no cost.
